Robert Mahlin DeRouen, Jr., Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. DeRouen is a certified public accountant licensed in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Public Accountants, and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies. Mr. DeRouen’s 25 years of public accounting experience include management advisery services, tax and audit of industries including banking, construction, real estate, retail, wholesale, governmental, professional services, oil and gas services and oil and gas exploration and development. Mr. DeRouen joined Leed Petroleum as its Chief Accounting Officer in December, 2006 after advising the Company on tax and accounting matters for the previous 3 years. Mr. DeRouen is an accounting graduate of the University of Louisiana, USA.
Robert Sigler Ellis, Jr, Operations Manager
Mr. Ellis is a graduate petroleum engineer with 28 years of engineering and management experience. For most of his career, he worked in numerous operating positions for Mobil Oil Company. After leaving Mobil, he has worked for independent oil companies and as a consultant. Mr. Ellis joined the Company in 2005. He graduated with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1979.
John Bradford LeBlanc, Jr., Geology Manager
Mr. LeBlanc is a geologist with 28 years experience in the Gulf of Mexico oil and gas industry, both onshore and offshore. Mr. LeBlanc has worked for several independent exploration and development companies focusing on the Gulf Coast region, and in the past he has run his own geological consulting company. Mr. LeBlanc joined the Company in November 2005. He graduated from the University of Louisiana, USA in 1980 with a BSc in geology.
Christopher John Thompson, Business Development Manager
After graduating, Mr. Thompson has spent his career in reservoir engineering and production/petroleum engineering positions with international and US based oil companies. Mr. Thompson joined LP LLC in February 2006 as the Corporate Reservoir Engineer and was subsequently promoted to Manager of Business Development. Mr. Thompson graduated with a BSc. in Geology from Queensland University of Technology in 1991 and obtained a graduate diploma in Reservoir Evaluation & Management from Heriot Watt University in 1994.
